PRESIDENT’S CORNER

President’s
CORNER
I am really excited about our BOM/Stitch-a-Long, Norfolk. I always want to participate but sometimes it just doesn’t work out — like I’m still working on Hometown. I’m thinking a red quilt or maybe a blue one-or whatever, I’m ready to stitch the things. I did find the current magazine so maybe I can keep up with this one.

I have not told y’all how much I appreciate those holding an office in the guild or chairing a committee. Whether presently or in the past, without your participation, we would not have a guild and that would be sad indeed.

Stay calm and stitch on.

P.S. We still need a door prize chair as well as door prizes!

Deborah Cypert

MARCH PROGRAM

Our program on March 7 will be on charm quilts. The quilts I will be talking about are the original charm quilts from the 1800s; not the quilts made from charm packs we see today. See you then.
