BIRTHDAYS

Cathy Mullin … October 27

PRESIDENT’S CORNER

Autumn, Fall, Harvest — finally here! My favorite season. I have been perusing my quilt and craft books for any and everything fall — had to narrow down my selection to two or three small projects and have actually finished one UFO for fall! I hope I have a new finish to show you at our next meeting.

Hard to believe my term as President is almost over! I want to encourage each of you to consider holding an office! Programs and workshops can and have been a two-person office before so if it appears to be too much for one person you can divide and conquer. There will be several opportunities to serve for 2023 — our 30th year, so please begin thinking about it.

Enjoy these cooler temps, drink some cider, or have a pumpkin spice latte! Embrace the season! Yum yum.

OCTOBER PROGRAM

Most of the quilts we make are the product of our own creativity and are made for ourselves or as gifts for other people. Sometimes we might participate with other quilters to make a quilt for a special occasion or special person. That would qualify as a collaborative quilt. We will talk about collaborative quilts at the October meeting. See you October 3.

WORKSHOP NEWS

Thanks to all who participated in the National Sew A Jelly Roll Day Workshop! We had nine people participate. If you participated, please bring your quilt or WIP to the October meeting.

There will be no other workshops in 2022. Stay tuned for 2023!
